Daily, Jay Z dominates news headlines in both music and mainstream news, due to his business ventures. With TIDAL, Jay Z is making plenty of headlines and has people talking. Meanwhile, there are rumors of him dropping another album to promote TIDAL.
Whether or not Jay Z releases another album remains to be seen, but his music will live on. Given Jay Z’s continued presence in headlines and the success Pharrell has in music, it made sense to reflect on one of their classics. Plus, “Empire” also returns tonight.
“Empire” ended back in December with Naomi Campbell’s character taking over Lucious’ (Terrence Howard) business. She used his youngest son, Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) to do so and crazy rumors said he is Jay Z’s biological son in real life. With all of that in mind, it made sense to reflect to Jay Z’s “Change Clothes” with Pharrell and Naomi Campbell.
