Will Barton saw his frustrations come to a head, tonight. Tonight, the Denver Nuggets played the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA’s first round. The Nuggets got off to a slow start to this season, but they turned it around. With the Warriors, it was the opposite. Golden State got off to a hot start and were tied with the Phoenix Suns for the NBA’s best record.
However, the Warriors’ slide saw the Suns and Grizzlies overtake them. For a brief period, the Dallas Mavericks also overtook the Warriors. Seeing how Dallas owned the season tiebreaker, that situation could have gotten much worse. The Nuggets also got within striking distance of the Warriors. As the season ended, the Warriors managed to salvage things.
Stephen Curry is coming off the bench for the Warriors. Playing behind Jordan Poole, Steph Curry ended the Denver Nuggets tonight. Early in the game, the Nuggets had a dominant lead. Curry turned that into a blowout loss for Denver. Will Barton saw it coming and he was upset. Apparently, DeMarcus Cousins said something to him, which caused an argument.
