Welcome to Man Down Entertainment

Outside of New York City, there may not be many who are familiar with Man Down Entertainment, better known as MDE. Despite this, Frenchie is still willing to break it down for those who are late to the party. Frenchie has carved out his own niche within the popular Brick Squad Monopoly camp, led by Waka Flocka Flame.

Frenchie is a native of Queens, New York, but has been working with Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame for some time. One of the founding members of Brick Sqaud, Frenchie has made a name for himself through mixtapes. Working with several of the biggest artists in the game, Frenchie has decided to develop his own roster.

On his 2011 anthem, “Sour So Strong,” Frenchie explained that being on Brick Squad is a blessing and he wants to open more doors with MDE. The result of this has been the signing of Y Balla, Donvee, Bakery Brad, Sony, Zoe Balla, Kontraversy, Greedy, Deezy, Joolz Balla, and the in-house producer, J Moss.

Last week, Frenchie’s MDE camp headlined DJ Junior, DJ Cortez, and DJ Nuk Nuk’s Download or Die 10, which was released exclusively through Hip Hop Vibe. So far, the mixtape has been a major success and Sony has gained props for his “Dreams and Nightmares” freestyle. Still, there is more than what meets the eye when it comes to Frenchie and his Man Down Entertainment family and Hip Hop Vibe will formally introduce the entire talented roster over the week of Christmas.
