Vince Staples and Mustard release music video for Magic
In 2013, the Los Angeles hip hop scene was in the middle of a resurgence. Vince Staples was among those artists to emerge. Almost immediately, Vince Staples became one of the hottest rising rappers in the game. What Vince Stapes did was build an immediate cult following and they have followed him over the past decade. With his latest album, Vince Staples joined forces with Mustard, the architect of this New West.
Mustard is a veteran in the game, best known for his work with YG. But it was Tyga who Mustard rose to mainstream fame with. Back then, he was known as DJ Mustard, and he produced “Rack City” to much fanfare. Following this, DJ Mustard was producing for everybody, dominating the 2013-2014 sound. This led to Mustard signing a management deal with Roc Nation. By 2017, Mustard had his own label deal with Interscope Records, and Ella Mai emerged successful.
Recently, Mustard joined forces with Vince Staples for the album Ramona Park Broke My Heart. The album has been successful and it’s filled with singles. Vince Staples has returned with the release of his single, “Magic.” Along with the single release, Vince Staples has released the official music video for the single.
