Today, Travis Scott and Charlamagne revealed the nearly hour-long interview that they conducted. This was regarding Travis’ Astroworld Festival last month, which resulted in over 300 people getting injured, and 10 losing their lives.
Travis explained how he didn’t know how people were dying in the crowd, and couldn’t hear any pleas for help. The Houston rapper added that he had music in his ear, and was so locked in on his performance, that night.
Travis’ attorney, Ed McPherson, spoke to TMZ Live on Thursday, about Travis’ decision to do this interview with Charlamagne. He claimed that Travis wanted to let the public and loved ones of the victims know, that he wants to help them heal. Travis is also making it known that he’s available to cover any burial costs, as several families have since rejected his offers.
This also comes after Travis has been hit with over 300 lawsuits, relating to the festival. These include ones that seek $10 billion and $2 billion, in damages.
