Each player went to struggling teams and now each of them is an All-Star and they have their teams contending for playoff spots. Trae Young has had the most success, thus far, as he led the Hawks to the Conference Finals, and were two wins from the NBA Finals. Hawks fans feel they, and not Giannis’ Bucks, should’ve won the championship.
After a sluggish start, the Atlanta Hawks went on an impressive seven game winning streak. Their winning streak was highlighted by the Hawks’ win over the Phoenix Suns. However, the Hawks have lost two straight games since the seven game win streak. Last night, the Hawks were in Dallas to play the Mavericks. This season, the West has been led by the Suns, Warriors, Grizzlies, and Jazz, but the Mavs and Nuggets have fought their way into the conversation. Both the Hawks and Mavericks needed the win, last night, but only one got it.
Trae Young did his part to secure the Hawks’ win. He flopped, hard, to get Luka Doncic’s fifth foul. The moment went viral, but the Mavericks got the win.
