Dedicated to her craft, Serena Williams gained fame and notoriety during the early 2000s, alongside her sister, Venus, as tennis champions. Early in their fame, the two were referred to as “Venus and Serena Williams.” The past decade plus has seen Serena take the spotlight all for herself.
Not only did Serena Williams prove herself to be the superior athlete of the sisters, she became the most-popular with fans. It wasn’t just her personality, it was her sex appeal. Known for her curves, Serena Williams is among the most bootyful women in entertainment.
Serena Williams was a sex symbol from the moment the urban entertainment world saw how she filled out those tennis outfits. From then on, Serena Williams made the hip hop world tennis fans. Her career is well-documented and Serena Williams embraced her hip hop persona, making cameo appearances on such shows as “The Game,” and dating the likes of Common and Drake.
Over the past week, Serena Williams returned to the spotlight due to her athletics. Key in Wimbledon 2015, Serena reminded the world of how she became the leading Williams sister. Last year, Serena lost in the third round of the Wimbledon competition and said she knew she could do better and she lived it when she returned this year, winning the title against Garbine Muguruza 6-4 6-4.
Once again, Serena Williams has made history and she has won her fifth title, overall. Along with this, Serena has won four straight majors, doing the “Serena Slam” two times in her own career, the first time in twelve years, however. No doubt, Serena Williams is amazingly good at what she does and she deserves everything she is getting and then some.
