Recently, T-Pain was asked a bit of a hot button question, so he gave a hot button answer. Known best for his run in the mid-2000s, T-Pain made himself into a legend. T-Pain has many chart-topping hits under his belt. Still, “I’m In Luv” is probably his most recognized hit.

T-Pain is responsible for making auto-tune hot. He was the first artist to use it, since New Jack Swing. While a lot of artists use auto-tune, none of them do it how T-Pain was doing it. But, T-Pain inspired an entire generation, much to Jay-Z’s dismay, but he gives T-Pain his props.

TMZ stopped T-Pain, at the airport, to get his thoughts on Black History Month. The famed singer was asked about the celebration of Black History Month. T-Pain was asked how white people could properly celebrate Black History Month and he said “stop.” Citing division, T-Pain said Black History Month shouldn’t be celebrated. Instead, T-Pain said history should be celebrated and Black history should be included inside of history, within itself. How it is now, T-Pain said, is separating people, again. He said to not celebrate just one month.
