Summer Walker addresses fans before second Atlanta concert
Last night, Summer Walker performed in her first show in over a few years, at the Coca-Cola Roxy, in her hometown of Atlanta. She performed hits from her ”Over It” and “Still Over It” albums, and even brought out Saucy Santana as a guest performer. Summer’s LVRN label mates, Alex Vaughn and NO1-Noah, also hit the stage.
Tonight, Summer is performing at the Coca-Cola Roxy again, and it will be live-streamed on Amazon Music once again, as well. Ahead of this upcoming performing, Summer is addressing people who don’t believe she brings enough energy to her performances.
“For those who are new to my music, light a blunt and drink some wine before you come. We lighting candles and hand swaying, there will be no wild running, flips or p*ssy pops from me lol this ain’t none of that. In other words R E L A X and enjoy the show.”
These concerts come three months after the massive success of Summer’s sophomore album, “Still Over It.” That project debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, which was also Summer’s first number one. It was led by the “Ex For A Reason” single ft. JT. Additional appearances included SZA, Ari Lennox, Omarion, and more.
