Stephen Curry is the greatest sixth man of all-time. While the Golden State Warriors struggled, late in the season, many said to wait until they got healthy. Early this year, Stephen Curry and the young Warriors meshed well. However, the Warriors were waiting for Klay Thompson to return. Alongside Stephen Curry, both Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole stepped up.

The Warriors and the Phoenix Suns tied for the NBA’s best record, early in the year. Stephen Curry was playing like an MVP and the Warriors held a 29-9 record. Draymond Green would go as far as to say the 2022 Warriors reminded him of the 2015 championship team. After Draymond Green went down with injury, and then Stephen Curry, it looked like Draymond would eat those words.

Late in the season, the Denver Nuggets got hot, and earned the sixth seed. Because the Warriors were struggling and the Nuggets were hot, some thought Denver had a shot. In this series, Stephen Curry has been feeling himself. During Game 2, Stephen Curry shouted “I’m back, boy!,” as the Warriors won. In Game 3, Stephen Curry closed the Nuggets out with a clutch layup. Afterward, Steph taunted Nikola Jokic, giving the “go to sleep” hand signal.
