Second, Stephen Curry battled ankle injuries during the 2011 season. Thirdly, Stephen Curry’s supporting cast had not fully arrived. In 2011, Klay Thompson was drafted. Despite missing the playoffs, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson built chemistry.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were joined by Draymond Green in 2012. During the 2012-13 season, the Warriors made their first playoff appearance. Now, Steph, Klay, and Draymond are the veterans on a young team. After a 29-8 start, the Warriors stumbled to a 53-29 record. As the West’s third seed, they were playing the second seeded Grizzlies.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson showed the Grizzlies why they won three titles. After Game 5, the Grizzlies felt they would beat the Warriors. Through most of Game 6, the Grizzlies played the Warriors close. At the end of the game, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson ran the Grizzlies out of the series with their threes.
