Steph Curry airballs a three pointer and the Jazz crowd boos him
Last season, the Utah Jazz had the NBA’s best record, and Donovan Mitchell was looking like an MVP. At the time, the Warriors were depleted, but Steph Curry was playing like an MVP. However, Curry wasn’t getting wins, and the Jazz were marching towards contention. In the playoffs, the Utah Jazz imploded, losing to the Clippers in the second round. Entering this season, the Jazz were expected to maintain the league’s best record.
While the Jazz have been a top four team in the West, the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns have been the story of this season. The Suns played in the NBA Finals, last season, and were two wins away from a championship. However, many credited the Suns’ victory to the Lakers being injured and the Jazz being depleted. But, this season, the Lakers aren’t a factor, instead it’s the Suns, Warriors, and Ja Morant’s Memphis Grizzlies, and the Utah Jazz in fourth.
The Utah Jazz needed to get the win over the Golden State Warriors, last night, and they did. Last night, Steph Curry went for a three-pointer, which he airballed. As he airballed the shot, Steph Curry got booed by the Utah Jazz crowd.
