Spencer Dinwiddie arrived with the Dallas Mavericks, earlier this year. Dinwiddie immediately meshed with Luka Doncic. During the second half of the season, the Dallas Mavericks really caught fire. Once Spencer Dinwiddie joined the Mavericks, he meshed well with the team. After Spencer Dinwiddie spent five seasons with the Brooklyn Nets, he was traded to the Washington Wizards.
Spencer Dinwiddie was a part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade. The Mavericks worked their way into the Western Conference playoff picture by January 2022. Dinwiddie came in and formed a nucleus with Luka Doncic that took the West by storm. Together, Spencer Dinwiddie and Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to the third seed, briefly. As well as Dinwiddie played, the Warriors overtook third.
Spencer Dinwiddie is the Mavericks’ main option in the playoffs. With Luka Doncic out, Spencer Dinwiddie has had to hold it down. Thus far, Spencer Dinwiddie has done well, as the Mavericks have managed to win with Luka out. Many expected the Utah Jazz to dominate with Luka Doncic out. Instead, Spencer Dinwiddie wound up dunking on Rudy Gobert, humiliating him, as Dallas went up 2-1.
