Soulja Boy insults Akbar V for saying he’s not from Atlanta
Nearly two weeks ago, Omeretta The Great sparked conversation. She dropped her single, “Sorry Not Sorry,” where she spoke on the city of Atlanta. Breaking down the areas in the city, she described what is or isn’t Atlanta. This has led to some taking it the wrong way. Others made remixes.
Akbar V is the self proclaimed queen of Atlanta. When she was on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Akbar V often told the ladies “you flew here, I grew here.” Now, she has come with her own “Sorry Not Sorry” remix. While this isn’t the official remix with Latto, it’s just Akbar V doing her thing. On her version, she says Soulja Boy isn’t from Atlanta.
Soulja Boy took a major offense to Akbar V mentioning him on her song. When Soulja Boy rose to fame, he represented Atlanta, and was signed to Mr. Collipark’s label. Because he out what Akbar V said, Soulja Boy went off on her. He shared a video where he hurled insults at Akbar V. Among other insults, Soulja Boy called Akbar V “fat head.”
