Rihanna is recognized as a legendary musician, worldwide. She’s also revered in the same way, in her home country of Barbados. Rih has now been honored in a major way, in Barbados.
Barbados celebrated officially becoming an independent republic, as, as Queen Elizabeth II was removed as the head of state. The new President, is Sandra Mason, and the Prime Minister is Mia Mottley. Mottley went on to announce that Rihanna is now recognized, as a national hero, in Barbados.

Rihanna has served as an ambassador for Barbados for three years now, and even has a street named after her. Now, she’s the 11th Barbados native, to be labeled as a national hero.
