Ray Vaughn ends 2021 with 59th & Bethany video
Ray Vaughn originally rose to fame, via his YouTube channel. He has succeeded in taking this popularity and turning it into a music career. A native of Long Beach, California, Ray Vaughn made a lot of noise, this summer, and it turned into a deal. Before the end of the summer, he signed with TDE, at a time when they need new talent.
Earlier this year, Kendrick Lamar announced his next album would be his last on TDE. He is leaving the label to focus on his own imprint, where he already has an artist signed. This is definitely the end of an era, as Kendrick is the man who put TDE on the map. For a time, it looked like they had a machine going, with Kendrick, followed by ScHoolboy Q, followed by Jay Rock.
But, TDE has had success outside of the Black Hippy members. Ray Vaughn has been a particular bright spot for the group, this year. With the year now at its end, he has returned with the music video for yet another single. A few days ago, he dropped the visuals for his single, “59th & Bethany,” which has done solid numbers.
