Last year, Tommy (Joseph Sikora) made a dramatic return to “Power,” via the “Ghost” series. Literally, his return was explosive, as he came back gunning for Tasha (Naturi Naughton). Quick thinking from Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.) led to him getting everyone out alive. At the end, Tommy decided he’d also finish off Tariq, but Monet (Mary J. Blige) had his back, forcing Tommy to retreat.
It’s been a year since Tommy made his return and many believed it set the stage for his own series. At the end of the original “Power,” Ghost (Omari Hardwick) left Tommy the business. Along with that, he restored his 1969 Mustang. When Tommy was leaving New York, he told Tiny (Omar Scroggins) he was moving to California.
Promos for “Power Book IV: Force” have Tommy located in Chicago. Apparently, something derailed his plans of getting to California. Now, he is forced to contend with a whole new animal, on the Chicago underworld circuit. But, Tommy isn’t new to this, he’s true to this, having run New York, with Ghost, for nearly fifteen years. These people think they know crazy, but they’re just discovering it.
