Due to having such an abnormal season, where they played until the end, Miami suffered in 2021. Many say “dead legs” cost the Heat in 2021. Bucks fans say the 2021 playoffs were payback for Miami’s upset of them in 2020.
PJ Tucker has come in and filled a lot of glue roles for the Miami Heat. During the regular season, he was key in helping Jimmy Butler get the freedom he needed. As a result, the Miami Heat finished with the best record in the East. Actually, Miami is tied with Golden State for the best team left in the playoffs. In Game 1, the Heat were being dominated by the Celtics.
PJ Tucker helped set the tone, in the third quarter. In addition to Miami’s offense, PJ Tucker brought the defense. With Jayson Tatum being the Celtics’ star, PJ Tucker rattled him. As they fought for position, PJ gave him an elbow to the stomach.
