Nicki Minaj Shows Love To Coi Leray, By Saying Fans Are Getting To Know Coi, After Not Getting Applause at Her Houston Concert [VIDEO]

Coi Leray continues to be one of the biggest breakout stars of 2021. She’s been able to win big with singles such as “No More Parties” remix featuring Lil Durk, “Big Purrd” feat. Pooh Shiesty, and “Bout Me.”

For the past week, people have sadly been criticizing Coi after scoring multiple BET Awards nominations. They believed that other artists were supposedly more qualified. Over the weekend, Coi’s concert at Houston was also meet with no cheers.

The show has since left Coi discouraged as today, she took to Twitter to vent her frustration. One of her tweets read “The love use to outweigh the hate but now the hate outweigh the love and it’s slowing destroying me.”

Nicki Minaj has since ended up taking to Twitter to uplift Coi. She explained how people may have been quiet at the show to simply listen to Coi more to study her more as an artist.

“Don’t do that. Chin up. Always remember this, when black ppl not fkn w|you #TheyWillBoo. Those ppl were on their feet. That means they may not have known the song, but they were interested in getting to know more— so they were observing u. Charge it to the game & move on 🎀.”

This made a huge difference for Coi mentally. She replied to Nicki, explaining how this tweet meant everything to her and had her speechless.

“Thank you so much for this. This means everything and more to me. Wow. I’m speechless. You just gave me so much more hope. Thank you again 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼💓💓💓💓💓”
