Lil Rekk makes it rain in Confetti video
Currently, Lil Rekk is commanding a lot of attention. Definitely, Lil Rekk is a rising artist, but he’s not considered one of the major stars in the game yet. Normally, early in the year is when artists like Lil Rekk can make a name for themselves. But, nothing has been normal about these past few years. Lil Rekk dropped at the beginning of 2022, but has had to compete with NBA Youngboy and NLE Choppa, who have both released projects this year.
Lil Rekk is a native of Philadelphia and he’s signed to the Highbridge label. While he is signed to a well-known label, Lil Rekk is making himself known on his own. Unlike most of the roster, Lil Rekk isn’t from NYC. Instead, Lil Rekk is from a city with its own hip hop history. Every five years, Philadelphia produces a major rap star. It’s been roughly five years since the last one emerged as a star. Now, Lil Rekk is seizing the moment to step into the spotlight, himself.
Going up against some big names, Lil Rekk dropped his mixtape, 1ONE, to much fanfare. He has been promoting the project by releasing several videos from 1ONE. This afternoon, Lil Rekk dropped the “Confetti” music video. Lil Rekk had a celebration going on, so he was making it rain, in his latest music video.
