LeBron James reverse dunks on Giannis and gets called for technical foul

All season, the Los Angeles Lakers have struggled, and this is while LeBron James has had one of the best seasons of his career. At 37 years old, media pundits have said LeBron is no longer capable of leading mediocre teams into the playoffs. When healthy, the Lakers are one of the NBA’s top teams. But, LeBron’s Lakers haven’t been healthy, this season. Since last season, the Lakers have struggled mightily.

Last season, the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA championship, after coming back from 0-2, against the Phoenix Suns. In Game 6, the Bucks closed the Suns out behind 50 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo, which was considered a classic game. The Lakers’ offseason moves were intended to place them back in title contention. This season, the Bucks have also struggled, looking up at the Heat, Bulls, and Cavs. Last night’s win thrust the Bucks into the second seed, behind the Miami Heat.

Frustration is mounting, meanwhile, for the Lakers. Instead of title contention, they’re behind the Suns, Warriors, Grizzlies, Jazz, Nuggets, and Mavericks. Last night, the Lakers had the Bucks on TNT, looking to make a statement. LeBron James had a huge moment, reverse dunking on Giannis. When he celebrated, in the ref’s direction, LeBron was called for a technical foul. That was indicative of how the night was going, as the Lakers took a blowout loss at home.
