Each year, it’s Team LeBron, and there has yet to be anyone to take that from him.
Nineteen years ago, LeBron James was the first overall pick. He joined the Cleveland Cavaliers, taking them from a 15 win team to a perennial contender. In 2006, LeBron James got the Cavs to the playoffs for the first time in seven years. LeBron James kept them in the playoffs every year he played for the Cavaliers. In 2007, LeBron led the Cavs to the NBA Finals, and in 2009, he led them to 66 wins.
After being upset in the 2010 playoffs, LeBron James signed with the Miami Heat. There, LeBron led the Heat to four straight Finals appearances, winning two straight titles. In 2014, LeBron James returned to Cleveland, leading them to the 2016 title, upsetting the Golden State Warriors. Making good on his promise to bring Cleveland a championship, LeBron left for LA.
