LaMelo Ball gets mad at D’Angelo Russell after fouling out and Hornets lose | Hornets at Timberwolves [VIDEO]

LaMelo Ball gets mad at D’Angelo Russell after fouling out

The Charlotte Hornets have been struggling, lately. During the first half of the season, the Hornets looked like solid playoff contenders. But, the Hornets have had a tough break during what was projected to be the “easy” half of the season. Earlier in the year, the Hornets got wins over the Warriors, Cavaliers, Nets, the Bucks twice, and the 76ers. LaMelo Ball and company have now lost seven out of eight games, with their only win coming against the league worst Pistons, during this stretch.

In recent history, the Hornets have played well against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last night, it looked like the Hornets would cruise to victory. Instead, Karl-Anthony Towns had a monster game that gave the Timberwolves a late game lead. However, Miles Bridges would keep the Hornets in it, with a late three-pointer. His shot gave the Hornets the chance to force overtime, where the Timberwolves kept their foot on the gas.

LaMelo Ball is the Hornets’ franchise player, so he did his best to win the game. Instead, LaMelo Ball went to get the ball from D’Angelo Russell and fouled out. Lately, LaMelo Ball has been showing his frustration, as the Hornets keep losing. The Hornets have been without Gordon Hayward, who is out with injury, just like he was last season. Ball is desperately trying to not repeat last year’s history.
