Making herself into one of the biggest phenoms in recent history, K. Michelle is notable for going from a reality TV star to a music superstar. But, before the cameras, K. Michelle was putting in work on the Memphis music scene. Fans had the chance to see two sides of K. Michelle through TV and music.
K. Michelle maintained the faith along with her impressive talents and Atlantic Records bought into her vision. Now, she is helping to restore some much-needed soul to the R&B genre. Still, the world knows K. Michelle can get down and dirty if need be.
Taking it back to those “ratchet” days, K. Michelle put a video out on Instagram of herself having fun. Looking in the mirror, K. Michelle wondered who the mother of the ratchets was. Without question, K. Michelle and her team crowned herself with this title.
