Integral in the hip hop culture is R&B, as the singers gave birth to the rappers that shape the culture. Well over a decade ago, the state of hip hop was brought into question. Recent years have seen a similar reckoning for the R&B culture.
While the state of R&B is being brought into question, there are people keeping it alive. New faces and names, Juanialys among them, are making noise. Not only does she have a solid team around her, she also has strong music, with a message.
Juanialys is currently promoting Yours as her newest project. But, she made a lot of noise with her single, “Broken,” a song which tackles the topic of suicide. With her music, Juanialys is not only shaping a culture, but she is also saving lives.
