Joel Embiid and Giannis almost fight after Giannis’ game winning block | Bucks at Sixers [VIDEO]

Joel Embiid and Giannis almost fight after Giannis’ game winning block

Last night, the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Milwaukee Bucks. The game was important for the Bucks and the Sixers. With the Miami Heat back on top, in the East, the Bucks and Sixers played for the second seed last night. Whomever won the game, last night, would own the tiebreaker. Barring something drastic, the winner of the game would take the two seed, and the loser would take the third. In the playoffs, more than likely, these teams would face in the second round.

The Milwaukee Bucks are the NBA’s defending champions. What the Bucks have experienced is what the Sixers expected for their franchise. In 2012, the Sixers tore their entire team apart, as they were tired of low playoff seeds and early exits. Tanking was expected to make the Sixers into title contenders. Instead, they have failed to get past the second round, and even got swept in the 2020 first round. A disagreement with Ben Simmons led to him being traded for James Harden.

Speaking of James Harden, he had the game winning shot last night. Harden missed the game winner and Joel Embiid went up for the game tying shot. Giannis met Joel Embiid with a block, which was originally called as a goaltend. A reversal led to Giannis having the game winning play. There was a quick back and forth between Giannis and Joel Embiid, after the game winning block. In the end, both walked away with cool heads.
