James Harden joined the Brooklyn Nets, as the third scoring option. The decision from Kyrie Irving to sit out has thrust Harden into the number two spot. But, playing alongside Kevin Durant is nothing new for him. Years ago, James Harden was the third scoring option, to Durant’s one. This is when they played for the Thunder. In 2012, James Harden and KD helped lead OKC to the Finals. A decade later, they are leading the Nets to the East’s best record. Tonight, they played the New York Knicks, hosting them in Brooklyn. The crosstown matchup saw Brooklyn win. Perhaps, this win was highlighted by the Harden putback dunk, off a Patty Mills missed three-pointer.
