At one point, Jacquees saw Keith Sweat in person to discuss the situation. As a result, Jacquees got roasted on Twitter, by fans who said Keith Sweat is the obvious king. Ultimately, Jacquees and Keith Sweat were just having fun.
Jacquees told Keith Sweat he is the king of the current generation. Furthermore, Jacquees explained to Keith Sweat that he is the king of the 16-25 age demographic. Still, Keith Sweat and the fans were not having that. At the time, Jacquees was riding the success of “Your Peace,” his hit with Lil Baby. However, Jacquees was never disrespectful in the debate. Now, Jacquees has capitalized from the “king of R&B” debate in a big way.
