Ja Morant owned NBA Twitter after amazing 360 layup | Grizzlies at Bulls [VIDEO]

Ja Morant owned NBA Twitter after amazing 360 layup

In four years, Ja Morant took the Memphis Grizzlies from a team rebuilding to a team competing with the Golden State Warriors for the NBA’s second best record. Yes, the Grizzlies are a young team, but they are not using this as an excuse to not win. While the Grizzlies don’t have much playoff success, they have dominated the regular season. The Grizzlies hold a better record than the team who beat them in last year’s playoffs, the Utah Jazz.

Ja Morant proved he has what it takes to hang, in the NBA, when his Grizzlies beat the Warriors in the play-in, last year. Of course, the Warriors are a proven team, so they have wasted no time returning to championship form. What has shocked a lot of NBA fans is how the Memphis Grizzlies have hung right in there with them. Last night, Morant led the Grizzlies into Chicago to face the Bulls. DeMar DeRozan’s team has also surprised people, as they are contenders. However, the Bulls have struggled to beat contenders.

Last night, Ja Morant put on a show, in Chicago. In the lane, he did a 360 layup, which Chicago fans should appreciate. While some say it was the greatest layup ever, others have compared it to Michael Jordan’s layup, in the 1991 NBA Finals.
