In light of Future’s “I Won” single with Kanye West, the concept of “trophy wives” and “trophy ladies” have become prominent in hip hop. But, there are countless beautiful women in the hip hop industry and they have been displayed for years. Now, Hip Hop Vibe has an outlet for these ladies to get their proper respect.
Envi is a rising urban model and she is from Charlotte, North Carolina and she is beginning to see her popularity rise. It’s only right, given Hip Hop Vibe’s North Carolina roots, for Envi, a Charlotte native, to be our first Trophy Edition Hottie feature. With this feature, things will be done a little differently.
Instead of an interview for the people to get to know Envi, she decided to send in a video. Earlier this year, Envi released a modeling video and she decided that it should be featured on Hip Hop Vibe. This will be the norm for the Trophy Edition of the Hottie of the Week series.
