“You say no to ratchet pussy Juicy J can’t” basically sums up the late summer of 2012 right up until the final day. Three Six Mafia’s Juicy J began releasing solo mixtapes in 2009, gaining the attention of the masses. However, it was not until 2011 when it appeared as if Juicy J would be able to do something, when Wiz Khalifa signed him to Taylor Gang.

In May 2012, Juicy J teamed up with Atlanta’s rising producer, Mike WiLL and he released his strip club-oriented track, “Bands a Make Her Dance.” The song was not met with immediate success, instead, the song went viral two months later. Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz both remixed the record, which led to Juicy J featuring them on a version he released as the single.

Juicy J did not put out an album in 2012, but put out Blue Dreams & Lean:Reloaded, earlier this year. However, the official version of “Bands a Make Her Dance” will be included on Juicy J’s upcoming third studio album. In March of 2013, Juicy J plans to release Still Trippy, but his first single changed the dynamics of 2012.
