One thing about Yo Gotti, he is always relevant whether he is seen or not. He defines the term “mixtape rapper,” because he used that lane to make himself more successful than the top rappers out. In 2013, he proved he had what it took to break through with “Act Right.”
Yo Gotti released his latest mixtape last fall and he scored another mainstream hit. Picking up on current topics, Yo Gotti released “Down In The DM” as his latest single. The song not only got a Nicki Minaj remix, it also got a music video yesterday.
Proving he is a force, Yo Gotti got cameos from Rae Sremmurd, DJ Khaled, Cee-Lo Green, YG, and Machine Gun Kelly. Given the song was a hit, the cameos took it over the top. The latest Video of the Week goes to “Down In The DM,” as the Nicki Minaj remix hits radio.
