HHV Video of the Week: Troy Ave – “Nightmare on Fed Street”

This past week, Meek Mill was not the only rapper having nightmares. Coincidentially, Meek Mill released his debut album the same week as Halloween and hip hop was in the spirit. Gucci Mane added a Halloween element to his “Crazy” single, for which the video was released.

Representing for New York City on Halloween 2012 was Troy Ave. The Halloween offering from Troy Ave was “Nightmare on Fed Street.” Just in the title alone, the song has brilliant wordplay, showing Troy Ave’s vivid imagination. While the song was impressive, it was only one part of the story.

Earlier this week, Troy Ave delivered the “Nightmare on Fed Street” music video. The video premiered on Halloween, clearly getting the point across. Troy Ave put forth one of the week’s most-entertaining videos this past week. “Nightmare on Fed Street” is definitely worth a second look this week.
