This week was a very big week for hip hop, with “Empire” wrapping its first season and all. The cast, mainly Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray are everywhere. Among their cameo appearances was Snoop Dogg.
It was very tempting to give Snoop Dogg the Video of the Week for his visuals for “Peaches N Cream.” He is having a big week and Bush is on the way, very soon. But, outside of this, Snoop Dogg doesn’t have much going in terms of radio success.
Rae Sremmurd is owning the radio, right now, with “Throw Sum Mo,” featuring Nicki Minaj and Young Thug. The brotherly duo did not land a cameo appearance on “Empire,” but they have made their presence felt with their single. Because of this, their “Throw Sum Mo” music video is this week’s Video of the Week.
