Hip hop is an ever-evolving lifestyle/artform, like every part of life. Things can change so much, they actually revert back to the past in a full circle type situation. It is exactly what happened with Puff Daddy, who became P. Diddy, and then Diddy, before becoming Puff Daddy again.
It looked like Diddy was done with making music four years ago, but his rededication to Bad Boy Records saw him return to making music. After stealing the scene on Rick Ross’ “Nobody” with French Montana, Puff Daddy came back. Already, he was promoting the “Big Homie” single and he reverted to being Puffy.
On Monday, Puff Daddy released the “Big Homie” music video and it has remained one of the hottest videos of the week. A lot of visuals dropped, but it’s not every day that Puff Daddy makes a return to the game after a fourteen year hiatus. The “Big Homie” music video featuring Rick Ross and French Montana is Hip Hop Vibe’s Video of the Week.
