Beneath the energetic surface, Ca$h Out is proving why he managed to have the entire urban community singing his song for an entire year. Given the nature of his self-titled breakout hit, Ca$h Out was written off as a one hit wonder. That was child’s play, however, compared to what he had in store next.
Recently demolishing any legs “one hit wonder detractors” had with “Hold Up,” with Wale, Ca$h Out is now aiming for number three. Early this month, Ca$h Out warned about his song with Gucci Mane, “The Curb.” Now, the warnings are over and this week Ca$h Out hit the game with the official music video.
Symbolic in a way, a sort of passing the torch from Gucci Mane to Ca$h Out, both rappers showed off their acting chops. Ca$h Out returned to form with his sing-songy form, as he previously said he would be singing his own hooks. On his latest song, Ca$h Out did all of that and more. Because of his effort, paired with the fan reaction, Ca$h Out earns the Video of the Week from Hip Hop Vibe for “The Curb” with Gucci Mane.
