Back in 2009, 50 Cent released Before I Self Destruct and it looked like it was the start of something new for him. But, there were plenty of delays for 50 Cent and his new album until earlier this year. In February 2014, 50 Cent left Interscope Records and started a new affiliation with Capitol Records.
50 Cent began his comeback this weekend at Summer Jam, when he took the stage with both G-Unit and Nas. When the week started, 50 Cent released Animal Ambition and the title track for the album. The “Animal Ambition” music video came out earlier this week.
With his new album out, 50 Cent is all over the place in promotion of it. His music video was one of a few to drop this week. A week where there wasn’t much selection outside of 50 Cent made it impossible to ignore him and is why he gets Video of the Week from Hip Hop Vibe for “Animal Ambition.”
