H.E.R. has risen to the ranks of being one of the top R&B artists in the game. She released her debut project “H.E.R.” in 2017 and it ended up winning a Grammy for Best R&B Album this past spring. The single “Focus” was also nominated for Best R&B Song. In 2018, she released her “I Used To Know Her: The Prelude” project that August which contained the hit single “Could’ve Been” feat. Bryson Tiller and the “I Used To Know Her: Part 2” EP in November.

H.E.R. has since released two solid records in “Racks” feat. YBN Cordae and “21.” She is now taking to social media to announce that she will be performing with Lauryn Hill at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16. General tickets go on sale on August 9 at at noon local time on Ticketmaster.

Hill is a legend but has been receiving backlash for showing up late to some of her shows over the years. The latest incident was at the Playground Festival in Glasgow, Scotland. She took to Facebook to issue an apology as she cited the reason for being late as celebrating her son’s birthday party. Hopefully there will be no problems on October 16 as these two R&B stars should put on a show as HER will showcase all of her work since 2016 and Hill giving older and new fans sounds of her “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” album. Check out the announcement for the show at the Hollywood Bowl below.
