Giannis is the reigning NBA Finals MVP. That is a title Giannis is not ready to give up just yet. Giannis is considered by most pundits as the NBA’s best player. Last year, Giannis led the Bucks to their first championship in fifty years. Giannis did so by beating the consensus best team in the NBA, the Brooklyn Nets. Despite falling to the second seed, the Nets were the first team to earn a playoff spot last season. In the second round, the Nets had the Bucks down 2-0 and 3-2, before losing the series.
Giannis and the Bucks won the equivalent of a 52-30 record, last season. After a slow start, Giannis led the Bucks to a 51-31 record, this year. This season is the first 82 game NBA schedule since 2019. Like last year, Giannis has led the Bucks to the third seed. After Giannis dominated the Chicago Bulls, in the first round, he dominated the Celtics in Game 1. Thus far, the Boston Celtics are dominating the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2.
Giannis is a competitor, so his team being down 24 points is frustrating. After falling behind by 24, Giannis ran the ball down and scored. While Giannis scored, he drew a foul from Grant Williams. Clearly, Giannis is angry with the game and glad that he scored. After Giannis scored on Williams, he gave him a classic stare down.
