EST Gee and 42 Dugg unite for the Free The Shiners music video
In 2021, Yo Gotti made some solid business moves. Since 2017, Yo Gotti has let his own music take a backseat. While Gotti has shifted his focus to business, he has signed some solid artists. Last year, EST Gee and 42 Dugg were his roster additions. Both rappers hit the ground running and they have made some big records.
EST Gee is a native of Kentucky. Not much is said about Kentucky rappers, but EST Gee is changing all of that. Last year, EST Gee dropped Bigger Than Life or Death. This year, EST Gee dropped the sequel to that project. Meanwhile, 42 Dugg is well on his way to being the next rapper from Detroit to blow up. These signings show Yo Gotti is not solely focused on Memphis rappers.
Since they are label mates, EST Gee and 42 Dugg are working on a joint project. During the CMG press conference, EST Gee and 42 Dugg announced Last Ones Left as their new project. While no release date has been set, EST Gee and 42 Dugg dropped the first single. This afternoon, they came with their single, “Free The Shiners,” along with the music video.
