In the 2016 NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors had a 3-1 lead, against the Cleveland Cavaliers. They were on the verge of winning their second straight NBA championship, at home. But, Draymond Green took a cheap shot, at LeBron James, getting ejected, and then suspended.
Draymond Green blamed himself for the Warriors ultimately losing the 2016 NBA Championship. Just a month later, though, Kevin Durant signed with the Warriors. After winning the 2017 title, Draymond said he would go through it all again, if he knew it would end like this.
By 2018, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant seemingly had beef, and their season would end, losing to the Toronto Raptors, in the 2019 NBA Finals. KD would sign with the Brooklyn Nets, forming a duo with Kyrie Irving, as he and Draymond reunited for the Olympics.
