Drake continues to be one of the most dominant and famous artists in the world. Whenever he is seen in public, the demand is high to get photos of him along with autographs for sure. This was the case recently for a woman who was with her young daughter.
The woman and child were at a hotel valet entrance as Drake was getting into his car. From there, the mother asked if Drake could give her daughter his autograph. They handed over a vinyl copy of his 2016 “Views” album. Drake at that point happily signed the vinyl as he asked the daughter’s name. The mother replied with “America.
Drake’s views album is one of his most popular projects to date as it served as his fourth studio album. This was another number one album for the Toronto native as it is also currently 6x platinum in the US and in his home country of Canada as well. Views was led by hit singles such as “Hotline Bling,” “One Dance” feat. Wizkid and Kyla, “Controlla,” and “Too Good” feat. RIhanna.
Of course, the wait is still on for Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album as well. It was delayed in late January but luckily, he put put his “Scary Hours 2” EP in March and dominated as all three songs on it (What’s Next, Wants And Needs feat. Lil Baby, and Lemon Pepper Freestyle feat. Rick Ross) debuted in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time ever. All of these records are platinum in the US as well.
