In April, Doja Cat released one of the biggest records of 2021 so far, with “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA. Fans had been waiting for these two to finally collaborate, and they definitely exceeded expectations. Kiss Me More ended up peaking at number three, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Now, Doja and SZA have reaches another impressive milestone, with Kiss Me More. According to Chart Data, it has become the first all-female collaboration to spend 20 weeks in the top 10 in Billboard Hot 100 history. This comes after this collab became the longest-running all female top 10 hit.
Kiss Me More went on to appear on Doja’s third studio album, “Planet Her,” in June. That debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and other collaborations with The Weeknd, JID, Ariana Grande, and more.
Doja will also be hosting the 2021 VMAs, on September 12. This will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Doja is heading into these awards show with five nominations. These include Video of the Year and Artist of the Year.
