In 2012, Doe Boy became one of the hottest rappers on the mixtape scene. He was signed to Future’s Freebandz, and was on the mixtapes from the hottest DJs. Early in 2013, Doe Boy looked like he was going to emerge as the next major rap star. Representing Cleveland, Doe Boy had a lot of momentum, and then he wound up behind bars.

Despite being released in 2014, Doe Boy didn’t have the same kind of buzz, when he returned. None of this stopped him from continuing to release music. From 2014 through 2019, Doe Boy continued releasing music, and had minor successes. Then, in 2019, he dropped “Walk Down,” and LeBron James made the song go viral, when he played it while working out.

By 2020, Doe Boy had another hit in “Split It,” with Moneybagg Yo. Since 2019, he has been one of the biggest up-and-coming rappers in the game making noise. Now, he has returned with a collaborative effort with Babyface Ray. A rising Detroit star, Babyface Ray received a huge shout out from Big Sean, on “Drink Champs.”

Now, Doe Boy and Babyface Ray have come together for “Onna Hood.” This is their anthem and the music video for the single is out now.
