DeMar DeRozan rips a towel during timeout, after James Harden hits 3-pointer in his face | Nets at Bulls [VIDEO]

DeMar DeRozan rips towel after James Harden hits 3-pointer in his face

When DeMar DeRozan signed with the Chicago Bulls, many people didn’t know what to make of it. The team has had Zach LaVine for a few years, now, and he’s made many highlights. However, LaVine has yet to lead the Bulls into the playoffs. During the summer of 2021, the Bulls signed both DeRozan and Lonzo Ball.

Initial projections said the Bulls would likely make the playoffs, but not much else. In the East, there are the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks, the Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers who were projected to lock down the homecourt positions in the East. Instead, the Bulls wound up being one of the surprise teams of the NBA, so far.

Alongside the Memphis Grizzlies, the Chicago Bulls have been the surprise team of the league. Both teams went on nine-game winning streaks. The difference is that the Grizzlies extended their streak to ten, with a win over the Warriors. Meanwhile, the Bulls have lost two of their last three games, losing to the Brooklyn Nets tonight.

As DeMar DeRozan sat on the bench, the Nets were blowing the Bulls out. A competitor, DeRozan was understandably frustrated. Then, James Harden splashed a three-pointer right in his face. This led to DeRozan ripping a towel, out of frustration.
