DeAndre Jordan curses at LaMelo Ball after blocking him

The Charlotte Hornets have been hot as of late. After a strong start to the season, the Hornets struggled in the mid season. Since the All-Star break, the Hornets have played well. As the Hornets continue to improve, the more attention LaMelo Ball will receive. LaMelo Ball was a hyped player, all the way back in high school. Ball was the third pick in the 2020 draft and slated to become the Charlotte Hornets’ franchise player.

Being an NBA star is one of the most dangerous jobs in America. When a player becomes a star, other players begin to target them. LaMelo Ball is in his second season and he’s already played in the All-Star Game. Aside from that, Ball has formed a nice duo with Miles Bridges. Together, Ball and Bridges have led the Hornets to their first 40 win season since 2016. Until this season, the Hornets hadn’t beaten the Philadelphia 76ers since 2016.

Gordon Hayward finally returned to the Hornets for today’s game. The Hornets were 40-38, after their blowout loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Early on, LaMelo Ball was trying to get the Charlotte Hornets back into the game. When LaMelo Ball was driving the lane, he went up for a layup. DeAndre Jordan showed why this was a bad idea. Not only did DeAndre Jordan block the shot, he told LaMelo to “get the F outta here,” and called him a “p*ssy.”
