Clippers’ reporter slips and falls after postgame interview

Tonight, the Los Angeles Clippers took care of business, on their home floor. Initially, the Clippers were expected to contend for one of the West’s top playoff spots. Unfortunately, they have struggled, this season, and they find themselves on the outside looking in. At the top of the West are the Suns, Warriors, Grizzlies, and Jazz. But, the Clippers are still a great team.

Likewise, the Atlanta Hawks were the surprise team of the 2021 playoffs. After a pedestrian record, the Hawks earned the fifth playoff spot, and upset the Knicks in the first round. In the second round, the Hawks took out the first seed Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7. This sent the Hawks into the Eastern Conference Finals, where they played the Milwaukee Bucks.

While Trae Young had a heck of a series, Giannis Antetokounmpo was a man on a mission. It took the Bucks six games, but they went to the NBA Finals, where they overcame an 0-2 hole to defeat the Phoenix Suns. The Clippers and Hawks have had parallel seasons, both this year and last year, as they upset the Jazz in the second round in 2021.

Tonight, the Clippers and Hawks finally faced each other. At home, the Clippers defeated the Hawks 106-93. After the game, the reporter in the postgame interview slipped and fell, after interviewing one of the players.
