Chris Paul laughs at Draymond Green after he travels late in the game
Last night, the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors had all the action. At one point, this looked like a potential preview of the Western Conference Finals. Now it’s looking more like Phoenix and Golden State will be playing in the second round. By now, everyone knows the Phoenix Suns have tied a franchise record for wins at 62. The season has an additional six games remaining. It’s highly likely the Suns add a few more wins to their total.
Winning 60 games or more is what the Golden State Warriors are used to doing. Early this season, it looked like the Warriors shook the dust off, when they jumped out to a 25-6 start. Since reaching that point, the Warriors have gone 23-23. With how well the Warriors were playing, getting Klay Thompson back was supposed to put them over the Suns. Instead, the Suns have kept winning, and they tied the Warriors in their season series. A tiebreaker is a moot point anyway.
Whatever the case, the Warriors had the chance to come up big. They had the Suns at home with a chance to end their winning streak. The game was close, which was expected, but Draymond Green had a chance. Draymond Green did a triple double travel, instead. So this led to the Phoenix Suns closing out the Golden State Warriors. As the Suns took final control of the game, Chris Paul was trying his hardest to cover up his laughter.
