When it comes to consistency, no R&B artist has done what Chris Brown has except for one. However, since 2019, that singer has seen his popularity wane. The docuseries expose ruined his reputation and landed him in prison. Now, Chris Brown finds himself sued for $20 million by a woman who accused him of raping her.

Chris Brown is back in album mode, something most singers from his generation can’t say. It’s going on seventeen years since Chris Brown dropped his self-titled debut album. During this time, CB went from having rappers on his singles to being a rapper, and doing albums with rappers.

In 2019, Chris Brown posted one of the best years of his career, as he was on every hook. He also officially ended his beef with Drake and they united to do “No Guidance,” easily 2019’s biggest single. The next year, Chris Brown dropped “Go Crazy” with Young Thug, which was on their Slime & B collaborative album. Yesterday, news broke of Chris Brown being sued for $20 million by a woman who claimed he raped her on Diddy’s yacht. This morning, Chris Brown broke his silence on this, pointing out how he’s always accused of wrongdoing when he has a project out.
