Blueface unites LA and Chicago with G Herbo in Street Signs video
Blueface had one of the fastest rises in history. At the end of 2018, Blueface released “Thotiana.” The song became a hit and put Blueface on the map. Wack 100 came in and began managing Blueface. With Wack already managing The Game, he had another West Coast star in Blueface. Things worked well for Blueface, who gained the support of Cash Money Records via Wack. While Blueface enjoyed a quick rise, he has yet to reach those same heights since.
However, Blueface remains a force in the game. What Blueface managed to accomplish is something few other rappers have. From one single, Blueface amassed a fan base of millions. The “Thotiana” single also earned Blueface a platinum plaque. Also, Blueface’s early success means people shouldn’t be sleeping on him. If anything, G Herbo is proof a rapper can get off to a hot start, cool off, and take the game over, again.
Since 2018, G Herbo has been a force in the game. G Herbo’s 2018 success dwarfed his original claim to fame, “Chiraq.” While G Herbo didn’t top Billboard, he did have Nicki Minaj’s co-sign. Blueface, meanwhile, has turned to G Herbo for his new single. Recently, Blueface dropped his single, “Street Signs,” and turned to G Herbo for the feature. Alongside the single, Blueface has the music video out for the people.
